Michael J. Colich
Michael Colich has practiced criminal law for over forty years. He spent his first seven years in practice as a Hennepin County Prosecutor trying more than ninety felony cases. Of those cases, he lost only one. In 1984, he formed Colich & Associates—now one of the most highly regarded criminal defense firms in Minnesota. Mr. Colich has tried hundreds of criminal cases throughout Minnesota and the United States. Those cases have included over forty murder trials. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Minnesota and the United States Federal Courts.
Mr. Colich’s clients have included professional athletes, public personalities, corporations and their employees, political figures, attorneys, and police officers. During his career as a defense attorney, Mr. Colich has represented clients charged with a wide variety of crimes, ranging from serious felonies to misdemeanor offenses.
