Riley J. Kuderko
Mr. Kuderko has always had a desire to serve the public. Prior to law school, Mr. Kuderko worked in the public sector on a congressional reelection campaign. Soon after, he landed an associate position at the White House in the Office of Presidential Correspondence. While at the White House, Mr. Kuderko gained valuable experience in supporting a dialogue between American citizens and the President. This opportunity inspired Mr. Kuderko to follow his passion for public service and pursue a career in law.
Mr. Kuderko began his legal career working as an extern with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office. He spent the summer advocating for criminal expungement petitioners. He drafted proposed orders and stipulations and consulted with county and municipal prosecutors to decide the outcome of expungement requests for crimes ranging from petty misdemeanors to felonies.
In law school, Mr. Kuderko joined the Legal Assistance to Minnesota Prisoners and Reentry Clinic where he represented formerly incarcerated clients in paternity, dissolution of marriage, and expungement matters. He successfully represented a client on two felony offenses, which were both expunged.
Mr. Kuderko then transitioned to prosecution work as a law clerk with the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office. He worked in the Adult Prosecution Division where he performed diligent research on a variety of felony cases. Through this opportunity, Mr. Kuderko gained invaluable insight into the inner workings of the criminal justice system.
Mr. Kuderko graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and was recognized by the Minnesota Justice Foundation for his completion of over 50 hours of pro-bono work through the Law School Public Service Program.
Mr. Kuderko joined Colich & Associates as an associate attorney in 2023 and works on criminal defense and municipal prosecution cases.
